Cut Out the Hype

Network Marketing may be one of the most misunderstood professions on earth. There are several misconceptions and myths about it. People think that only those on top make money, most people don’t earn anything, or it’s not a real business. Even though there are numerous facts out there that prove otherwise, there are still damaging misconceptions out there. This is frustrating to many distributors who think that people just need to understand and wake up. Which is true, but I think the Network Marketing profession needs to look at itself and do better. Sometimes the negative perceptions of Network Marketing The post Cut Out the Hype appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.

Are You Working at Minimum Wage?

If you’re involved in Network Marketing, if you’re an entrepreneur, you can’t afford to mow your own lawn. Let me explain… I have been mentored by a few different billionaires throughout my Network Marketing career. I sought out my first mentor and asked him how do I make more success for myself? I want to make a million dollars a year! My mentor said, “To make a million dollars a year you have to earn approximately $500 an hour in order to meet your goal. The One Question You Need to Ask

Today, I’m giving you the Magic Question in Network Marketing. This is the one question that I’ve learned and used throughout my career that will create more results in growing your business than any other question. It’s simple and easy to remember, just four words:  IF I, WOULD YOU? This question works so well because it’s easy to remember and it’s reciprocal. What that means is that you are offering to do something first, and then asking them to do something. We’re hard wired as human beings to respond positively to that type of question. There are several practical applications The post The One Question You Need to Ask appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.

Stop Apologizing for Network Marketing

If you’re involved in Network Marketing, we need to have a conversation because some of you have an inferiority complex about this profession. Let me be as clear as I can possibly be… If you have an entrepreneurial bone in your body, Network Marketing is not perfect, but it’s better than any other form of entrepreneurship for the average person. And that is not just my opinion. I can back it up with these eight points: The initial investment is low compared to traditional business. Network Marketing has the potential for unlimited upside. The product is already created for you. The post Stop Apologizing for Network Marketing appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.

Scar Tissue

I believe one of the most underappreciated things in business and Network Marketing is scar tissue. I know that sounds strange, but hear me out… Everybody in Network Marketing wants a fast, easy way to success. They want a simple system that they can just download and everything is figured out for them. They want the answers to be given to them, to be spoon-fed like a little baby. None of them want to go prepare their own food, build their own house, grow their own business. They think their upline, company, or downline should do it for them. They The post Scar Tissue appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.

The Ultimate Social Network

Today, I want to talk about one of the most undervalued attributes of the Network Marketing profession: the social network. A study was done recently that showed the average American had 3.8 friends back in 1990. These were significant friends, confidants, people they could share important information with. So, you’d think that today, 27 years later, the number of friends would have grown because of social media and the interconnectivity of the world. But in fact, the number has decreased to about 1.8 friends today. We’re more connected than ever, but the significance of the social network that we are The post The Ultimate Social Network appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.

Walk Away from Need

There are so many people in Network Marketing who need things. They need support, someone to hold their hand, recognition, training, etc. But as Jim Rohn used to say, “Life doesn’t respond to need. Life responds to deserve.” Need is part of the employee mindset, not the entrepreneurial mindset. Employees need. Entrepreneurs work on deserving things. They are not dependent and try to become independent as quickly as possible. So, don’t need your upline. Make it happen on your own. Use your upline as a resource, but don’t blame your lack of achievement on their lack of support. If there The post Walk Away from Need appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.

Face Your Fear

Have you ever found yourself afraid to do something in Network Marketing?  Maybe you’re afraid to make phone calls, do a presentation, follow up, or get people started.  I think all of us have found ourselves afraid of something inside this profession from time to time.  Our insecurities pop up, and we find ourselves frozen.  When most people are faced with fear, their response is either to freeze up and not do anything or run away.  So, here’s my word of encouragement: to overcome your fear takes much less activity than you think.  If you’re afraid to make phone calls, The post Face Your Fear appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.

Finding Prospects

I was four or five years into my Network Marketing career before I realized that prospecting was actually a skill.  I had always thought that prospecting was just a natural resource, not a skill that could be nurtured and developed.  So, I decided to look at what successful people were doing. Robert Kiyosaki wrote, “The richest people in the world look for and build networks. Everyone else looks for work.” I think this is very true.  Prospecting is not just a Network Marketing skill, it is a life skill.  You are finding people, meeting people, interacting with them, bringing value The post Finding Prospects appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.

Chicken Soup for the Network Marketer

Today, I asked Jack Canfield to share with us his thoughts on the value of Network Marketing and the intelligence of the people involved in the profession. Jack said that people in Network Marketing are extremely brilliant people, and they’re extremely successful because of that.  More and more brilliant people like neurosurgeons, lawyers with large practices, VPs of international companies, have all been attracted to Network Marketing and been super successful.  When he speaks at Network Marketing conferences, the people he meets there are all just extremely bright people. As for the benefits of Network Marketing, Jack said that there The post Chicken Soup for the Network Marketer appeared first on Network Marketing Pro.
